Summary
MakeX Inspire is a STEAM competition designed for young children aged 4-7 years, focusing on early education in a playful and engaging manner. This season's theme, Fruit Wonderland, invites children to hone their skills in logical thinking, mathematics, and spatial awareness.
Participants will work with the mTiny robot, programming it on-the-fly with coding cards to accomplish missions within the arena. The activity nurtures programming acumen, mathematical reasoning, logic, and creativity.
The competition comprises two missions:
- Pest Off Mission (4 mins): Identify and remove harmful pests from the arena.
- Fruit Carrier Mission (2 mins): Gather and transport fruits to a designated collection area. Each team consists of one child and one accompanying adult. A bonus point is awarded if the robot is creatively decorated.
